Insurance Information

We want to help

Dr. Stewart believes in recommending the best care for you without regard for insurance considerations.  However, we are dedicated to insure our patients receive the best possible reimbursement from their dental insurance company.  We are happy to write narratives, speak to dental insurance company personnel on your behalf.  We will gladly submit your insurance claims for you.

Dental PPO and HMO Plans

Dr. Stewart is a participating provider in a limited number of dental PPO plans including Delta Dental, Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Texas, Cigna and Guardian.  We do not participate in dental HMO plans.  In any case, patients generally find that their out-of-pocket expenses are often very little different between our office and those of participating providers on their PPO and HMO plans.  We appreciate the opportunity to have your compare our fees and your after-insurance cost estimates.  We believe you might be surprised of how competitive the cost of the excellent care in our office will be.

Concerning Insurance Estimates

We try to provide you with the best estimate of what portion of the fee that your insurance may cover, based on information available to us. However, in many cases,  it is almost impossible to accurately estimate a patient's insurance co-payment.  Keep in mind that your dental insurance is a contract between your employer and the insurance company over which Dr. Stewart has no control.  Therefore, the patient is ultimately responsible for any part of the fee that the insurance does not cover.

Private & Group Insurance

As a courtesy to our patients with medical and/or dental benefit plans, we will submit necessary claim forms, receipts, and other information to your insurance company.

Upon receipt of an insurance payment, any balance due will be billed to you. If you have deposited an excessive co-payment, it will be refunded to you promptly.
